Bestmark National is proud to have contributed to the highly anticipated SKIMS flagship in New York City, a signature project designed by Rafael de Cárdenas that redefines minimal luxury. Located in the heart of Manhattan’s SoHo district, this immersive space serves as the brand’s first permanent retail destination, offering a sculptural and monolithic interior experience designed to celebrate the human form.
The store’s soft, tonal palette and monumental figure sculptures set a bold visual stage for a meticulously crafted shopping environment. Within this backdrop, Bestmark National was engaged to fabricate and install several custom architectural and fixture elements essential to the SKIMS display.
Our work included the fabrication and installation of custom architectural millwork designed to seamlessly integrate into the wall niches throughout the store. We executed precision detailing and finish matching to support the minimalist and sensual design tone of the space. Additionally, we developed and installed fully customized recessed bases and anchor points, allowing seamless transitions between the monolithic shelving niches and the architectural envelope.
The result is a fluid, gallery-like environment that supports the SKIMS brand narrative through carefully embedded fabrication and clean execution.
