Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Shop Associate, located in Irvington, NJ. The Millwork Shop Associate will be responsible for cleaning the shop and loading items into the trucks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate loading/ unloading of items onto transfer trucks.
- Manage stocking of warehouse supplies in designated areas
- Responsible for following and promoting all safety standards of conduct
- Move, pack, scan and palletize items safely ( Items often weigh more than 50lbs)
- Coordinate tasks with a team of 2-3 associates.
- Perform all tasks while following safe practices and utilizing proper PPE
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the day
- Report all unsafe conditions and unsafe acts as they become aware
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and the Production Manager.
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs; reach, stop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, crouch
- Ability to operate company vehicles, tool and equipment in a sage and productive manner.
- Understand client quality expectations
- Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision
Estimated Salary Range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
