Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shop Associate, located in Irvington, NJ. The Millwork Shop Associate will be responsible for cleaning the shop and loading items into the trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate loading/ unloading of items onto transfer trucks.
  • Manage stocking of warehouse supplies in designated areas
  • Responsible for following and promoting all safety standards of conduct
  • Move, pack, scan and palletize items safely ( Items often weigh more than 50lbs)
  • Coordinate tasks with a team of 2-3 associates.
  • Perform all tasks while following safe practices and utilizing proper PPE
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the day
  • Report all unsafe conditions and unsafe acts as they become aware
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and the Production Manager.

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs; reach, stop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, crouch
  • Ability to operate company vehicles, tool and equipment in a sage and productive manner.
  • Understand client quality expectations
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision

Estimated Salary Range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
