Millwork Associate Project Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Irvington, NJ for an Associate Project Manager at Bestmark National. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for expediting project tasks, managing project logistics, conducting inspections, and overseeing project management activities on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain crucial well-rounded knowledge about the manufacturing process, materials, furniture/ millwork construction, and installation practices.
  • Responsible for preconstruction management of assigned multiple projects from award to completion; including coordinating drafting, scheduling, procurement & inventory management, production-assist, closeout/ safety documentation and client management.
  • Cross functionally working with Estimating, Production & Trade Partners.
  • Review specifications on architectural and design drawings for submittals in shop drawings. Detail typical millwork connections and collaborate with production to showcase innovative millwork engineering for custom solutions.
  • Collaborate with Arch/Design team as needed for changes and/or approvals of shops and submittals.
  • Manage the mock-up process for review and sign-off prior to full production roll-out.
  • Coordinate info and set expectations with trade partners supplying materials and finished components and/or services.
  • Track the timeline progression for all preconstruction work on projects.
  • Provide resolutions to mitigate any major delays and deliver on-track goods and services.
  • Ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the contracted time frame.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000
